A Letter from the Head of School
Welcome,
Each school has a unique environment, a unique feel, a unique sense of community. As you begin to explore our website, it is my hope you begin to sense the wonderful spirit and community we enjoy at Tallulah Academy/Delta Christian School each day. The school, located in beautiful Tallulah, Louisiana, has been educating children since 1970 in a positive academic environment.
The school educates children from grades Pre-K3 through grade 12 and is blessed with an outstanding faculty and staff committed to helping the children reach their God-given academic potential. The faculty strives to keep the curriculum and academic standards current as we incorporate key educational benchmarks into our school-wide educational plan. Technology plays an integral role in the classroom with the availability of Smart Boards, computer labs, Chromebooks, and up-to-date technology programs for the faculty. In addition, students have opportunities to earn college credit through partner universities.

History
In September of 1967, the dreams of excellence in education became a reality through the efforts of hard-working parents as Delta Christian School opened its doors to grades one through seven. Three years later, with the addition of another building, Tallulah Academy/Delta Christian School was transformed into a fully accredited educational institution comprised of grades one through twelve. As over 400 students entered its halls, the building truly became a school filled with a great pride and spirit that is as indomitable in the 21st century as it was in 1970. Today, a comprehensive, standards-based educational program serves to prepare pre-K three year olds to seniors with a strong college preparatory base. Tallulah Academy/Delta Christian meets the expanding challenges of this age of technology while remaining true to the fundamental principles of honor and service upon which the school was founded.
