Testing
All students in Grades 9 through 12 have the opportunity to take the weekday ACT twice a year.
Dual Enrollment
Students in 10th through 12th grades can earn college credit through a partnership with the University of Louisiana - Monroe. They can also take several different technical courses from the local junior college, Delta Community College.
Students taking full advantage of these courses can graduate with up to 18 hours of college credit.
Students who are interested in taking dual enrollment classes at ULM need to meet the following criteria:
- Be on schedule to achieve the Louisiana Core 4 curriculum.
- Minimum 2.5 OVERALL high school GPA
- Have achieved the minimum ACT score required for the course they wish to enroll in. (varies from course to course)
- Additionally, students must be fully admitted to ULM before enrolling, and meet any necessary course prerequisites to enroll in DE courses.
