Testing
All students in Grades 10 through 12 have the opportunity to take the weekday ACT twice a year.
Dual Enrollment
Students in 11th and 12th grades have the opportunity to earn college credit through a partnership with the University of Louisiana - Monroe. They can also take any number of technical courses from the local junior college, Delta Community College.
Students taking full advantage of these courses can graduate with up to 18 hours of college credit.
Students who are interested in taking dual enrollment classes at ULM need to meet the following criteria:
- Address the Louisiana Core 4 curriculum.
- Minimum 2.5 OVERALL high school GPA
- Minimum English ACT 18 or Math ACT 19
- Minimum Composite ACT 20 or 2.0 CORE GPA
- Additionally, students must be fully admitted to ULM, in their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school, and meet any necessary course prerequisites to enroll in DE courses.
